PEOPLE Magazine Awards: Kate Upton Wins PEOPLE’s Sexiest Woman Award

Kate Upton has been hailed as one of the 𝑠e𝑥iest women on the planet, but now it’s official.

At the PEOPLE Magazine Awards on Thursday, Upton won the award for PEOPLE’s Sexiest Woman.

“This is such an honor to me because 𝑠e𝑥y to me means someone who’s confident and happy,” said Upton, 22, as she accepted the honor at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

Grey’s Anatomy star Eric Dane presented Upton with her award.

“There are a lot of reasons why Kate is 𝑠e𝑥y. Style, career, achievements, sense of humor, personality – oh and did I mention her looks?” he said.

While best known for appearing on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Upton was recently featured in a Bobbi Brown campaign and in Lady Antebellum‘s music video for “Bartender”.

She also kickstarted her acting career this year, starring alongside Cameron Diaz and Leslie Mann in The Other Woman.
