The action movie The A-Team brought Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper together for the first time ever on the big screen. Despite Neeson being a phenomenal actor, he found himself a bit starstruck in front of his co-star Cooper’s improvisational skills. As soon as the director yelled “action,” Cooper transported all of them to such a realm that often left Liam Neeson terrified of the qualities the star possessed.

Liam Neeson Was Terrified of Bradley Cooper on the Sets of The A-Team!

Liam Neeson once revealed that when he worked with Bradley Cooper on the action comedy film based on the 80s’ TV show of the same name, The A-Team, he was a little intimidated. Despite Neeson working in the industry for several decades with several movies under his belt, the actor was terrified of Bradley Cooper, mainly because of Cooper’s exceptional improvisational skills. Speaking to ContractMusic (via Digital Spy), he said,

“We did a scene in the van which was my first time with Bradley. He starts this improvisation, prompted by the director, and I’m there going, ‘What the hell is this?’ So it was terrifying for the first few days, and then it got to be inspiring actually.”

Although Cooper going off-script in front of the camera caught the actor a bit off guard initially, Neeson slowly gained inspiration from him. Besides that, he also revealed that working with the actor on the movie was an absolute treat.

Although the movie failed to work its magic at the box office, Liam Neeson once revealed that his favorite part of the movie was his chemistry with Cooper. Although this was the first time the two very talented actors shared the same space on screen, their chemistry was off the charts, according to the actor. Speaking with The Fan Carpet he revealed,

“It was a no-brainer. That’s the thing I’m proudest of with the whole film – our chemistry on screen. It’s there and palpable and it was a joy to go into work every day with the boys, it really was. All egos were left at the door”

The actor described the movie experience as akin to spending time with ‘the boys’. Despite the professional nature of the work, the camaraderie that blossomed behind the scenes made it feel effortless. This genuine friendship not only made the off-camera moments memorable but also radiated authenticity when captured on film regardless of how the film performed following its release.
