Selena Gomez affectionately rests her arm on a friend as she leaves Nobu Malibu after enjoying a night out with her pals

Selena Gomez was pictured leaving Nobu in Malibu with a group of her friends on Friday evening.

The 31-year-old hitmaker appeared to have thoroughly enjoyed her night out as she wrapped her arm around one of her pals and pressed her hand on her forehead while leaving the celeb-favorite eatery.

The singer, who was recently spotted in the company of Taylor Swift and Zoë Kravitz, opted for an all-black outfit that included a T-shirt worn under a jacket, which remained draped around her arms.

Gomez also donned a pair of leggings that clung tightly to her sculpted legs as she spent time with her friends.

The Disney Channel alumna completed her look with a pair of leather shoes and kept a chic handbag slung over her right arm.

The songwriter’s gorgeous brunette hair remained tied back into a tight bun for the length of her outing.

The singer is currently preparing for the release of the upcoming musical crime comedy film Emilia Perez, in which she will appear.

It was revealed that Gomez had signed on to act in the feature this past January, and according to Variety, she will star alongside Zoe Saldana and Karla Sofia Gascon in the feature.

Emilia Perez will be centered on a Mexican crime lord who goes on the run in order to undergo a 𝑠e𝑥 change operation.

Filming for the feature commenced in Paris this past April after being delayed for several months.

The project was directed by Jacques Audiard, who also wrote the movie’s script.

Principal photography was originally set to take place in Mexico, although the director ultimately moved the film’s crew to Paris.

Gomez shared a series of photos taken during her time in the City of Lights to her Instagram account this past June.

The performer appeared to be thoroughly enjoying her experience in Paris in her snaps, and Saldana was seen in one of her shots.

She also penned an affectionate message to commemorate her time in France and to express her enthusiasm for the upcoming movie.

‘Thank you Paris for being a home to me for two months! I loved every moment. Working on this film has completely changed my life. I can’t wait to share more soon! Love you all,’ she said.
