George Clooney playfully teases “pretty boy” Brad Pitt while discussing his notorious on-set pranks, referring to them as “dirty, dirty tricks.”

George Clooney had a little bit of fun at the expense of his friend Brad Pitt as he talked about the brutal pranks that were pulled by his co-star.

The 62-year-old A-lister – who recently opened  up about the casting process for Adolf Hitler for his latest project – talked about working with the 59-year-old star in an interview with Extra’s Melvin Robert on Monday night.

George chatted with the media personality on the red carpet of the premiere of his upcoming film The Boys In The Boat which he attended with wife Amal.

Melvin brought up their upcoming film together -titled Wolves – as George jokingly replied: ‘Pretty boy Pitt.’

He then joked about how Brad has been looking these days.

The 62-year-old A-lister  talked about working with the 59-year-old star for upcoming film Wolves in an interview with Extra ‘s Melvin Robert on Monday night.

George said: ‘I don’t know if you’ve seen him up close lately. He doesn’t look so good. But with makeup and visual effects, we’re able to save him.’

As the former star of ER is a notorious prankster on film sets, he compared his mischievous side to that of the other A-lister whom he described as more brutal.

George explained: ‘Well, because my pranks, they could take forever. But his pranks cut to the bone. Like, they hurt.

‘Like, I can’t go home to my hometown because he’s done something to me. They’re dirty, dirty tricks.’

Their upcoming film follows two lone wolf fixers – played by Brad and George – whose lives are upended when they are assigned the same job.

It was revealed last year that both Pitt and Clooney both took pay cuts to ensure the film would also get a theatrical release along with its debut on Apple TV Plus.

‘It was an exciting time because it got to be one of those weird bidding wars which happen every once in a while, and it ended up being pretty extreme, and Apple came in with a really big number for Brad and I,’ Clooney told Deadline last year.

‘And we said we’d like to take less as long as we can guarantee that we can have a theatrical release, and they said great,’ Clooney added, in a reference to Apple.

Apple TV+ acquired the rights to the film after winning out on a studio bidding war between up to 10 companies that included Sony, Lionsgate, Annapurna, MGM, Universal, Warner Bros, Apple, Netflix and Amazon.

Wolves was written and directed by Jon Watts, who is best known to many fans for the Spider-Man films starring Tom Holland: Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), as well as the supernatural horror film Clown (2014) the road thriller Cop Car (2015).

Brad and George first starred together in 2001’s Ocean’s Eleven, reuniting in 2004’s Ocean’s Twelve and 2007’s Ocean’s Thirteen.

Brad also had a cameo in George’s directorial debut, 2002’s Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, and they starred in the Coen Brothers’ 2008 film Burn After Reading.

They also starred in the 2012 play 8 by Dustin Lance Black that aired live on YouTube with a star-studded cast also including Kevin Bacon, Jamie Lee Curtis and more.
