Gal Gadot was outraged when the United Nations abruptly ended her character Wonder Woman’s Honorary Ambassadorship for the Empowerment of Women and Girls last Friday.
The fictional female superhero has a 75-year history of inspiring and empowering young girls thanks to DC Comics, the ABC/CBS series, and the upcoming Warner Bros. film.
The expecting 31-year-old and original star Lynda Carter had attended the October 21 unveiling ceremony at the U.N.’s Manhattan headquarters amid protests.
