Details about Dragon Ball Daima come from DBZ YouTuber Geekdom101, who previously revealed accurate information about the anime ahead of the official announcement.

According to Geekdom, most of Daima’s first episode was shown in the reveal trailer. Right from the beginning of that episode there will be a major change in animation.

It is known that the episode will start with classic Dragon Ball Z style art, reminiscent of the 90s version that fans love. But it will eventually switch to a more modern look like Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

Geekdom says that two unnamed villains placed a curse on Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and the remaining heroes, turning them back into their child forms. However, they cannot return to their adult bodies by using the wish from the Dragon Balls to break the curse, because it comes from the demon realm.

This eventually leads to Goku and the Supreme Kai starting the first part of Daima, where they will go to new locations, meet new characters, and find a way to reverse the curse.

Not only that, Daima also has blood, which is almost absent in Dragon Ball Super. This may be because the series will be broadcast online and not on television.

Interestingly, Geekdom further notes that Toriyama is approving the film’s scripts and editing them to keep the film more in line with the author’s vision versus the production issues plaguing Super.
