Recently, Timothee reflected on the Beyonce concert he attended with Kylie, which is widely considered the debut of their relationship, as it was the first time they engaged in PDA knowingly in front of cameras.

During an interview with MTV’s Josh Horowitz last month, Timothee was asked what his “best concert experience of 2023 was.”

“You went to Beyoncé, that is documented. I will say that,” the host said, to which Timothee replied with a smile, “That was great, that was great. Hard to be present.”

While Timothee didn’t mention Kylie by name in the interview, he was clearly referring to their makeout session that was caught on camera before going viral on social media. But his cheeky reference to the PDA-heavy evening didn’t go over well with all fans.

As The Independent notes, Timothee has received some backlash online following his comments. “Hard to be present lol,” one person wrote in a Reddit forum dedicated to discussing The Kardashians.

Kendall Jenner earns millions per year from her brand deals and businesses and it has slowly grown her net worth.

“I assume that he meant he was distracted during the show because of Kylie being there,” a different comment said, while another added, “I assumed it was less about Kylie being there and more with the public attention their outing was getting.”

Even in June, there were reports that Timothee was being warned by those close to him to avoid getting involved with the Kardashian-Jenners, due to their reputation for drama and controversy.

“Every guy who dates or marries one of the Kar-Jenners winds up on the scrap heap, wondering what happened to their reputation and career,” one source claimed. “Timothée has a bright future Getting involved with Kylie can lead to everything going up in flames.”

The source concluded, “The last thing he needs is to become the latest punchline in a hoke about the Kardashian rejects!”

There’s evidence that Timothee could be trying to avoid attention on his relationship status. For instance, it was initially presumed the actor skipped the annual Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Eve party, as he wasn’t seen in any of Kylie’s posts, sparking rumors of relationship discord.

However, eagle-eyed fans eventually spotted Timothee in the background of a video from the party, proving that while he did attend, he did his best to keep a low-profile and steer clear of cameras.

Given that his romance with Kylie Jenner hasn’t necessarily boded well for his reputation (considering fan reactions), it would make sense that Timothee is trying to keep his love life private, at least for the sake of his acting career.
