Inter Miami may be the favorite to win MLS Cup this year according to the bookies.
In an X post, Fox Soccer posted a chart listing the odds for every MLS team to win MLS Cup.
It comes as no surprise that Inter Miami topped the list with +200 odds.
However, before Miami can even think about lifting the coveted Philip F. Anschutz Trophy, the Herons must undergo some roster moves.
Inter Miami’s off season transfer window business and more
Already, Miami has laid the foundations for a successful 2024.
They’ve not only signed striker Luis Suarez, but are actively on the hunt for wing back Julian Gressel.
Additionally, the club has added extra General Allocation Money from a trade with the Portland Timbers and FC Dallas.
The men in pink are ready for what 2024 brings. In his end-of-the-year press conference, CSO Chris Henderson stated that the team will be evaluating every position through the club.
“We’re looking at everything to [improve the squad.] We have high hopes for 2024, and we want to show what we can do as a club,” he said.
“Winning trophies and having high ambition is something we’ve had since day one.”
Miami will be competing in multiple international and domestic tournaments next season, including the Leagues Cup, US Open Cup, and CONCACAF Champions Cup.
Although there’s still a month before the start of the MLS season, it’s not a shock to see the Herons as the league favorite.
It remains to be seen if they can live up to the expectations, but if they do, 2024 will be one for the history books.
