Taylor Swift has arrived to the Golden Globes red carpet — and you best believe she’s still bejeweled!
The mystery of Swift’s plans for Jan. 7 — which brought a potential scheduling conflict between the awards show and Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs game in Los Angeles — was solved by her appearance at the red carpet in bright metallic green.

The “Anti-Hero” singer stunned in a slinky, sequined dress, but fans immediately spiraled as they attempted to decode the meaning behind the surprising color.

Fans quickly linked green to her “Reputation” era due to the album’s recurrent snake imagery.
The album is one of two that the singer has yet to re-record. Fans have anticipated an announcement of “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” for months, and they’re interpreting her bold look as a hint that the new era is almost upon us.

Other fans had a different take on the look. The other album Swift is set to re-record — with the goal of owning the masters to all of her albums — is her first one, self-titled as “Taylor Swift,” often referred to as debut.
The cover art for the album, which originally came out in 2006, is marked by bright blue and nature green.
“Taylor just showed up to the Golden Globes in green and I can’t decide if it’s giving Reputation TV or debut TV,” one fan wrote on X.
Kelce did not walk the red carpet with Swift. He also did not take the field during the Chiefs-Chargers game, and instead watched from the sidelines to rest before the Chiefs upcoming post-season in the NFL playoffs.
Swift’s red carpet fashion moments are legendary, but her attendance at the Golden Globes was just speculation until her arrival. Swift was spotted in L.A. Jan. 6 leaving a restaurant with friends and fellow NFL wives and girlfriends Brittany Mahomes and Lyndsay Bell.
Swift has been nominated for five Golden Globes in the span of her career but has never won. She last attended the ceremony in 2020 with Joe Alwyn, her former boyfriend of six years.
