New details have emerged about Henry Cavill‘s exit from the DC Extended Universe and the scrapped plans for him to play Superman again.
Just weeks ago, it was confirmed that Henry would be back as the beloved superhero after he made a surprise cameo appearance in the end credits for Black Adam.
Now, Henry will no longer be playing Superman as the brand’s new bosses have plans to reintroduce Superman with a younger actor in the role.
The Hollywood Reporter just released some new insight into what happened, including how Henry never signed an official deal to return as Superman. There was only a verbal agreement.
The report says that Henry was paid $250,000 for his cameo in Black Adam, as well as another $250,000 for a cameo in the upcoming The Flash movie, which is now going to be scrapped.
