Mbappe’s family recently became victims of identity theft. Specifically, a 48-year-old man impersonated Kylian Mbappe’s father, Mr. Wilfrid Mbappe.
In the name of the famous football player’s father, this man contacted the authorities of the provinces of Yvelines, Hauts-de-Seine and Seine-et-Marne. The purpose was to appear under this false identity to legalize the documents of two Algerian immigrants to France.
However, this man’s behavior did not last long. Because all contact parties are aware that Mbappe’s father will not participate in such things. They quickly reported to the police. French law enforcement quickly arrested the impostor. On February 10, the Versailles Court sentenced this man to 10 months in prison and a fine of 2,000 euros.
