Olivia Rodrigo and Tate McRae Embrace the Excitement as They Witness Spectacular Showdown between Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets.

Olivia Rodrigo and Tate McRae had a girls night out at the Lakers-Nets game in Los Angeles Friday night.

And from the looks of their animated reactions from their courtside seats, the two stars were engrossed in all the high-flying action on the hardwood.

The home team came out strong, taking a nine-point lead by the end of the first period.

But then, as Brooklyn started making their comeback Rodrigo and McRae would react strongly to the big plays, all while yelling out with excitement at times.

After cutting the Lakers lead to six at the half, the Nets stunned the bestie beauties by going on a run in the third period, en route to their comeback win at Crypto.com Arena in Downtown Los Angeles.

Tate McRae and Olivia Rodrigo, both 20, looked to be firmly engrossed in the action between the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Brooklyn Nets in Los Angeles Friday night.

The Drivers License star wore her emotions on her short sleeves in a black ensemble, while the Think Later singer had similar reactions to the big plays on the hardwood.

Rodrigo, 20, showed off her fashion sense in a leggy black ensemble she paired with a white t-shirt and black platform boots.

The Murrieta, California native had her dark tresses styled long, straight and flowing well past her shoulders with a part in the middle.

The chart-topping singer-songwriter seemed to never lose her intensity while watching all the drama unfold on the court.

At one point, during a brief break in the action, Rodrigo decided to capture the moment on camera and take a few selfies with her camera phone.

McRae, 20, looked stylish in a blue denim jeans and a black leather blazer-style coat she wore over a white top.

The Calgary, Alberta, Canada native also donned a pair of two-tone black and white sneakers.

Rounding out her look for girl’s night, the Canadian singer, songwriter, dancer and actress had her light brow locks flowing down over her chest and down close to the bottom of her back.

In the end, the Nets went on to earn the road win in Los Angeles 130-112, largely behind the play of Nic Claxton’s 22 points and 14 rebounds and Cam Thomas’s 33 points coming off the bench.

The gal pals got to see all the drama on the court unfold from their courtside seats.

McRae and Rodrigo both have scored hit songs on their music industry resumes.

The star singers got pumped when the action stepped up in the second half.

In the end, Lakers fans went home with a tough loss to the Nets 130-112, to the dismay of the two young ladies.

The Lakers were led by their two big superstars Anthony Davis, who had 26 points and 12 rebounds and LeBron James, who has 24 points and 11 rebounds.

McRae first gained prominence as a 13-year-old contestant of the reality competition series So You Think You Can Dance.

She would go on to gain some traction in the music industry by sharing songs online that caught the attention of RCA Records.

Her song One Day gained her a lot of attention by going viral on YouTube.

McRae soon gained wider recognition after her 2020 single You Broke Me First became an international hit, peaking at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Her debut studio album I Used to Think I Could Fly (2022) went on to become a hit by hitting number 13 on the US Billboard 200.

Cam Thomas gave Lakers fans fits coming off the bench to score 33 points.

The Lakers’ two big superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis led the way for the team in their loss that now has then with a record of 21-22 for the season.

Her second album Think Later (2023) went on to be a big top 10 hit in many European countries like the UK, Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium and Norway.

As for Rodrigo, she first gained wide attention by starring in the television series Bizaardvark (2016-2019) and High School Musical: The Musical: The Series (2019-2022).

She went on to write one of the best-selling songs of 2021 with Drivers License, which were followed by Deja Vu and Good 4 U.

The young star has two hit studio albs now with Sour (2021) and Guts (2023).
