Four teams agree that Chelsea is asking far too much for the 22-year-old.

Chelsea are putting off suitors for one of their players with their high asking price.

Armando Broja is attracting interest from Fulham, Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham United and Aston Villa, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.

However, Jacobs has also claimed on Substack that all four of those Premier League clubs feel that the striker’s £35m+ valuation is too high.

One report from The Telegraph has actually put Chelsea‘s asking price closer to £50m.

With Broja just returning from a serious injury and not a regular starter under Mauricio Pochettino, it is hard to imagine any club meeting either figure.

In a season or two, maybe Broja will be a £35m Premier League striker. We think he has the potential to.

He is only 22 but has a bit of experience in the division now and at 6 ft 3, the Albania international is the right height for English football.

If Broja can become a bit more prolific, which should happen naturally with more starts — he has not had too many of those this season — the Blues will be in a position to demand the above for him.

However, the Chelsea academy graduate is just not there yet and interested clubs will not overlook his recent injury record.

Ultimately, then, if Chelsea want to sell Broja in this transfer window, then they are going to have to lower their valuation. If the club do not want to do that, then it is going to have to be a loan.

At this moment in time, no one is going to pay £35m for Armando Broja, let alone £50m. With Chelsea not being blessed with options up front right now, though, you would have to question why they are even considering letting him go.
