He shared his achievement on Twitter stating that his final results were released and renaming himself with his newly earned qualification. Inimfon earned distinctions in four courses which include, Internal Medicine, Community Medicine, Pediatrics and Anatomy.

”At exactly 3:00pm, Monday, the 29th of January, 2024 our final MBBS result was released. I, Dr. Inimfon Kufre Inyang, emerged Best Overall Student,” he said.

Inimfon stated that he is glad that his determination and hard work earned him his achievement remembering when he promised himself that one day he would look back at how his late-night reading and resilience paid off.

While a Medical student, Inimfon served in some capacities of both academics and extracurriculars. He was the president of the Health Compass Initiative and the program coordinator of the World Writers Club.

He also worked part-time as an On-Air Personality at Uniuyo 100.7Fm, and was the secretary-general of the University of Uyo Medical Students’ Association Quiz and Debate Club.

Advising other students,  Inimfon stated that there are more people paying attention to them and looking up to them than they expect so they should b determined and resilent towards their studies.
