Real Madrid is said to have included a special bonus clause in Kylian Mbappe’s contract if this player wins the Golden Ball.
Kylian Mbappe’s long transfer story with Real Madrid is about to end after much information emerged about the contract agreement between the French superstar and Los Blancos . Previously, in early February, Mbappe was said to have informed the PSG board of his decision to leave the club after his contract expired at the end of the season.
Spanish press reported that Real Madrid also sent a contract to Mbappe. The contract term is 5 years with a salary of 15 million Euros per season and a signing bonus of 150 million Euros.
According to Foot Mercato, Mbappe also has the opportunity to receive an additional bonus of up to 15 million Euros from the club if he wins the Golden Ball. The amount is equivalent to one year of net salary in the player’s contract.

Notably, this bonus once again broke the limit at Real Madrid when the club’s most recent player to win the Golden Ball, Karim Benzema, only received a bonus of 1 million Euro. Meanwhile, the rewards of other players who have won awards such as Cristiano Ronaldo or Luka Modric are not disclosed.
