Rocky was deluged with criticism last week when he posted a picture of himself wearing a pendant designed to look like three tanks forming the letter Z.

He uploaded the image to plug his collaboration with Beats By Dre, but Instagram users flew into a rage in the comments, assuming that the necklace signified support for the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Z has become a popular symbol for the Russian side of the conflict – and is often seen painted, for example, on the side of Russian tanks.

After posting the necklace picture, Rocky was immediately confronted with a torrent of backlash and swiftly deleted the post from Instagram.
