He was pictured holding toilet roll under arm whilst carrying a bag of shopping.

It comes after his players were seen heading for a team-bonding dinner ahead of the clash with Liverpool.

Ten Hag goes into the match with his future at United still in doubt.

His side are at risk of not qualifying for next season’s Champions League after their early exit this term.

The Red Devils are currently eight points off the top four in sixth place.

Meanwhile, they are also six adrift of fifth place Tottenham and a potential additional Champions League berth.

Despite his struggles this season, Ten Hag could still keep his place in the United dugout.
