The couple celebrated Beyonce’s birthday on Tuesday by heading to exclusive restaurant La Casitta on Maddalena island along with a few friends.

On Thursday Beyonce took to her website to mark her birthday and shared a heartfelt letter to fans along with some photos in a post titled Your B**** at 36.

The Drunk In Love hitmaker said that the highlights of her last year included becoming a mother-of-three as well as renewing her vows with her husband.

‘At 36, I became a mother of three,’ she began. ‘I breastfed twins. I renewed vows with my husband of ten years.’

‘I came back home to the stage to do Coachella, after pregnancy. Then my husband and I released our album together, Everything is Love. And we’ve been touring with our whole family around the world, and loving it,’ she shared.

Beyonce and Jay-Z have previously been on a break from their joint On the Run II Tour, which is set to finally come to an end this autumn.

The concert series started off in Europe in June with a concert in Cardiff, Wales, and then headed to the United States in late July.

It came after their most recent show was in Miami on August 31, and are set to return to the road on September 11 with a show in Arlington, Texas.

Back to work: Resuming their tour next week the couple will be heading down to Texas for a joint show, before later heading back to Los Angeles and Canada
