At the Miami Grand Prix, when the Dutch world champion was not burning rubber to win the qualifiers and the sprint, he was taking care of his girlfriend’s daughter. At the Miami Grand Prix weekend, a picture of Max Verstappen taking care of little Penelope surfaced as Kelly Piquet was taking care of some work. The relationship between the driver and his girlfriend’s daughter is adorable, with Verstappen being like a father figure in her life.

Kelly Piquet is a busy lady with a lot on her plate too, and taking care of a 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 while juggling work can be difficult. So to ease the load on her, Verstappen sometimes takes on the duty of taking care of Little P. During the Miami Grand Prix day 2, images of Verstappen taking care of Penelope surfaced, while on another page, Kelly Piquet was spotted attending some work with a photographer with her.

The images of Max Verstappen carrying Penelope in his arms while walking towards the Miami Grand Prix are nothing short of adorable. That being said, it garnered a lot of attention online, with over 18k likes on the pictures as of the writing of this article.

The post on Instagram was captioned, “Today a Max Verstappen page released images of him disembarking in Miami from the beginning of the week, the pilot was accompanying little P, Kelly was working and left a story today in Miami!”

These pictures show that Kelly Piquet trusts Verstappen with her daughter when she’s not around and that the Dutchman is nothing but a great guardian for Penelope.

There were two posts that surfaced on Instagram where the aforementioned one captured Max Verstappen with Penelope, and the other one showed Kelly Piquet taking care of some business during the race weekend. In the clip that captures her without Penelope around the paddocks, she is seen talking to a lady whom she introduces to the cameraman beside her.

It’s unclear what the matter of the business is, as there is just music in the audio of the videos. After the cameraman and the lady share their greetings, she speaks to Piquet, and it looks like she is guiding Verstappen’s girlfriend to a certain area of the paddock.

However, it’s heartwarming to see the 26-year-old world champion taking care of Penelope like a father figure while being clear that he never tires of replacing her father and is there as a caretaker as he has a strong running relationship with Piquet.
