When you’ve got a billion dollars to your name, you might as well spend it.

That’s exactly what Kim Kardashian did when she splashed US$400,000 (AU$600,000) on a custom Mercedes-Benz V-Class with Maybach gear, which you can see in an episode of Million Dollar Wheels.

Dubbed the “first of its kind in the US”, Kim’s custom car has all the luxurious bells and whistles you’d expect from a mega mogul – designed for “school drop-offs” (because why not) with one very specific ‘Kim K’ request.

The man behind the six-figure deal was elite celebrity car dealer RD Whittington, who in the world of luxury LA super cars admitted that Kim Kardashian remains their biggest client to date.

“Kim is a mega car collector,” he explained. “She has every car you could imagine – and multiples.”

The Mercedes V-Class is low-key on the outside (to help the star “roll under the radar” if you will). But inside, it looks like a jet.

“This is the only car she doesn’t have yet for her fleet,” RD continued.

“We’ve been working around the clock to make this happen,” RD told Kim.

The unique ride was packed with “insane” features.

In-between the two passenger seats sat a touch pad that could do everything; from making a in-built flat screen TV appear, to changing the lighting in the car.

The panel also allows for the passengers to change the partition from clear to opaque in just a click of a button.

While it was time for his client to check out her new wheels, Kim K had one very specific request…

“Do you think it would be weird… I kind of just want everything all grey,” Kim suggested.

She wanted to change the car’s colour match the rest of her grey “fleet”.

“I just brought her a black van that is completely custom and ready to go, and now she wants to change the colour and paint it grey?” RD told cameras.

“Is this a problem? Absolutely not.”
