Havertz starts, 2 changes: Arsenal’s predicted line up to face Luton Town

Arsenal travel to Luton on Tuesday night in a bid to stay top of the table.

Five wins on the trot in all competitions has seen Arsenal rise to the top of both their Champions League group and the Premier League standings.

Whilst Luton linger towards the bottom of the table, they do present a challenge with a unique atmosphere at home. Liverpool were one team to see how difficult it can be, only managing to salvage a late point.

But Mikel Arteta will know he needs to get maximum points from this game, with tough fixtures against Aston Villa, Liverpool and Brighton to come next.

Have a look how I think we could line up for the game below. Disagree? Create your Arsenal XI at the bottom of this article.

Goalkeeper: David Raya

Defenders: Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel, Oleksandr ZinchenkoTomiyasu’s injury coincides with White’s return to fitness and I would expect just the one change in defence as a result.

Midfielders: Kai Havertz, Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard

Trossard did well in parts against Wolves, but Havertz has been improving with each fixture and it feels like a natural rotation to bring in the German for this game from the start.

Forwards: Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus, Gabriel MartinelliArsenal’s first choice front three is fit again and I would expect them to all start this game. With a ‘dead rubber’ against PSV next midweek, they can all be rested in that game.
