Keir Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron are set to hold talks on how to support Ukraine against Russia following Donald Trump’s election win. The leaders will speak on Monday in Paris to discuss whether US President Joe Biden can be convinced to give the war-torn country permission to use Storm Shadow missiles in their defence against Russia, The Telegraph reports. The newspaper revealed that there are high hopes in London that Biden will give permission to Kyiv to use the missiles – a request Ukraine has made for months.

The mother of a ten-year-old boy who suffered terrible facial injuries when an e-bike crashed into him has slammed the ‘heartless’ rider for fleeing the scene. Carter Ralph was left with his nose hanging off when he was struck while playing outside his home. Hearing his scream, Nadine Ralph, 39, ran outside to find her son covered in blood, lying on the ground seemingly unconscious. He required two operations to repair injuries to his nose, mouth and one of his eyelids.

Israeli citizens have been warned to avoid sporting and cultural events in Britain and Europe following the violence that erupted in Amsterdam last week. Citing intelligence that pro-Palestinian groups plan to target Israelis in several European countries including Britain, France and Belgium, Israel advised its citizens against attending events in which the country was participating.
