Yes, we’re all extremely pumped that ace pitcher Justin Verlander is returning to the Houston Astros after an under-the-wire deal just before the MLB trade deadline. Houston is thrilled to welcome him back.

But what this also means: Kate Upton and her Astros ’fits are returning to Minute Maid.

There’s a certain art to being a fashionable baseball wife as well as a successful model and actress. And despite Houston’s unwavering commitment to being a swampy hell most of the year, the Bayou City’s weather turns out to be no match for Upton’s unwavering commitment to a jacket during baseball season.

Shiny! Slightly edgy! Subtle but still on theme! And a truly masterful pairing with the star earrings as well. This fine jacket can go from Minute Maid Park to celebratory cocktails at Nancy’s Hustle soon after.

3. World Series Patch Jacket 

This one feels like a collector’s dream: The navy bomber jacket Upton wore while celebrating the Astros’ 2022 World Series win features patches celebrating the Astros’ 50th anniversary, NASA patch, an Astrodome patch, an All-Star Game patch, a 2017 World Series patch (flex), and of course plenty of Hs and stars.

4. Mitchell and Ness Satin Jacket

One that many fans have coveted, Upton’s custom satin bomber from Philadelphia-based Mitchell and Ness Nostalgia Co. made an impression after she wore it during Game 4 of the American League Championship Series in 2022. It’s currently out of stock, but vigilant shoppers may be rewarded—it’s been restocked before. Also, Upton looks great in dark blue and orange. We can’t all be so blessed.
