The Tesla billionaire – who has been named as co-head of Donald Trump’s new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) – took to his own X platform to have a shot at the 58-year-old comedic actor. Elon reposted an X user’s screenshot of a DailyMail.com story about Stiller with the headline ‘Ben Stiller says woke America killed “edgier” comedy’ along a photo of one of Ben’s characters in Tropic Thunder named Simple Jack.

Russia is continuing work to put its ‘unstoppable’ Satan II intercontinental ballistic missile –  part of its terrifying strategic nuclear arsenal – on combat duty, Moscow’s state media has revealed. A Canadian man has been jailed for life in Dubai for taking medical use CBD and cannabis on the plane with him. Maurice Kevin O’Rourke, from Mississauga, Ontario, was prescribed CBD oil and cannabis – both of which are completely legal in Canada – to manage the chronic pain caused by the rare and life-threatening Addison’s disease. But when the 64-year-old transited through Dubai on his way to South Africa on July 3, he was detained for carrying his medical use CBD oil and cannabis in his luggage and taken to Al Awir prison.

A senior advisor to Kamala Harris admitted internal polls showed the vice president was never ahead of Donald Trump in the battleground states, and that they were running on hope on Election Day. Labour will need to loosen immigration rules to find an extra half-a-million construction workers required to meet its housebuilding target, economists have warned. Ministers are pledging to build 1.5million new homes over the next five years – equivalent to 300,000 per year – and have proposed an overhaul of planning rules in order to meet their ambition. But Capital Economics have said the Government will also need a further 500,000 construction workers in England to fulfil their goal.
