Will Smith and Margot Robbie move past picture scandal, kicking off filming in Buenos Aires with the show going on.

Their on and off screen relationship has been the talk of the town since a set of racy pictures of them emerged.

But Will Smith and Margot Robbie put the drama behind them as they started work on their new film Focus in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Thursday.

The 45-year-old was spotted giving what appeared to be a pep talk to his co-star,23, as they filmed scenes in the streets.

Margot, who was previously linked to Leonardo DiCaprio, can be seen in the image wearing a lace white top beneath which her white bra could be seen.

The pretty top was teamed with a white pencil skirt and delicate strappy sandals, while her hair was styled in a very chic chignon.

Will, meanwhile wore a pair of rust coloured chinos and a long-sleeved black top, as he was seen chatting away to Margot before the cameras started rolling.

The film tells the story of veteran grifter who falls for a young, attractive woman who he takes under his wing, started filming in the South American city following shooting in the US.

On Wednesday Will and the Australian actress were pictured together for the first time since the snaps emerged, as they attended a press conference for the new film together in the city.

Will appeared in a jovial mood as he laughed and heckled with photographers.

He showed off his lean physique in a vibrant yellow sweater paired with black jeans and trainers.

Margot, meanwhile, looked elegant in high-waisted white trousers and a sleeveless blouse.

She wore her hair loose and straight over her shoulders and added a slick of pink lipgloss.

The pair stood with their arms around each other as they posed alongside fellow actors Gerald McRaney and Rodrigo Santoro.

At one point, Will flashed a peace sign for the camera, while Margot gave a small, somewhat subdued smile.

The pair’s friendship came under scrutiny earlier this month after photographs emerged of the married father of three and the young star getting cosy in a photo booth.

In the pictures, published in Star magazine, Margot lifts up her top to reveal her lacy white bra, as Will pulls up his own shirt, pressing his bare chest against her back.

However, Margot took to Twitter to deny any inappropriate behaviour between herself and her co-star and insisted the pair were ‘just goofing around’.

She wrote: ‘Been working non-stop, just catching my breath. There’s absolutely no truth to the ridiculous rumor in Star mag…

‘…It’s disappointing that goofing around on set could be taken so out of context (sic).’

Will plays a professional grifter in Focus, who gets romantically involved with Margot’s character after taking her under his wing.

Despite Margot’s insistence that the pair are merely friends, it’s been reported that the Independence Day actor ‘carried’ his co-star back to his trailer after taking the photos.

Just days before the photos emerged, Will was busy playing family man, writing on his Facebook page that he would like to try to have another child with his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

‘Happy Birthday, Willow!’ he wrote to his daughter on Thursday, Oct. 31. ‘Our baby is 13 today. No more little ones in the house… I think I’m gonna get Jada pregnant tonight.’

The star’s Facebook message is surprising as he and Jada, 42, haven’t been photographed together since they were in New York City with their children on August 23.

And Jada has issued a few odd statements lately.

On October 23, she told the audience at the Associated Black Charities of Baltimore Girls’ Night Out Event, ‘When you are going through a storm with your spouse…stop thinking about what you “believe” a husband or wife should be.’

‘I thought success would make me happy … It does not,’ Jada also reportedly said.

But a source attempted to stem the flurry of rumours, telling US Weekly earlier this month: ‘Everything with them is great.’
