Graham Potter is a contender to replace Erik ten Hag as Manchester United boss should the Dutchman get the sack, talkSPORT understands.
Ten Hag is under increasing pressure at Old Trafford amid a number of poor results this season, which has seen them already exit Europe and the Carabao Cup and succumb to seven Premier League defeats.

And should it be decided Ten Hag’s days in the job are numbered, Man United could turn to former Chelsea boss Potter.
talkSPORT also understands Potter’s work is admired by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who is set to complete his minority stake purchase in Man United imminently.
Potter is also close with Dan Ashworth, who is being mooted for the sporting director role at Man United, from their days working together at Brighton.
Potter has been out of work since being sacked as Chelsea boss in April. He was in the position for less than seven months.

He first rose to prominence as Brighton manager as he stabilised them in the Premier League in his three-year spell at the Amex Stadium.
Man United could be in for another setback this weekend as they prepare for a showdown with Premier League leaders Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
They’re without club captain Bruno Fernandes, who is suspended, while Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw went off injured during the Red Devils’ defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
Victor Lindelof is a doubt to face Liverpool for United, who are already without Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, Mason Mount and Tyrell Malacia due to injury.
