Rihanna spoke onstage during the Super Bowl LVII Pregame & Apple Music Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show Press Conference on Thursday – calling her much-anticipated show ‘almost impossible’ to pull off.

The 34-year-old songstress looked stunning in a custom double slit snakeskin patterned skirt from Gianvito Rossi as she sat on stage and gushed about her upcoming performance, which is set for Sunday, February 12.

Speaking to panel moderator Nadeska Alexis, the star revealed that she has worked through 39 different set lists to get it right, and revealed how her stage on the night will have to be built in just eight minutes, making the stakes for it to go right sky high.

The beauty teased her ‘almost impossible’ halftime performance, according to Page Six.

‘I mean, it’s literally, like, 300 to 400 people breaking the stage down and building it back up and getting it out in eight minutes. It’s incredible. It’s almost impossible.

She continued: ‘We’ve been working on it for a while, and every day it just gets closer and closer to the finished product.

‘Today’s a really big rehearsal, a really important one, that’s going to be crucial for Sunday.’

The Love On The Brain hitmaker also talked about how much preparation has gone into creating the show.

‘This is the week that – it really is [about] being tested. Everyone, we’re just tightening up everything, everybody’s dialing in, everybody’s tuning up, and [it’s] a lot of moving parts.’

For the event, the Rude Boy singer paired her leggy and revealing skirt with a fur-lined leather jacket that hung off one shoulder, exposing the low-cut top she was wearing underneath.

For shoes, she went with snakeskin patterned heels that had straps that went up her exposed legs. Her raven hair was pulled up in a braided ponytail with two pieces left out to frame her face.

The Lift Me Up singer’s makeup was flawless and featured a sultry red lip and defined cheekbones.

Rihanna was previously offered the coveted gig in 2019, but turned it down.

‘It feels like it could have only been now. When I first got the call to do it again this year, I was like, ‘You sure? I’m three months postpartum, should I be making major decisions like this right now? Like, I might regret this.”

She went on to say: ‘But when you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you can take on the world, you can do anything. And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world.

‘So as scary as that was, because I haven’t been on stage in seven years, there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. And it’s important for me to do this this year. It’s important for representation and it’s important for my son to see that.’

The venue: Super Bowl LVII will be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona

The exciting event comes with the rumors swirling around that the Fenti Beauty founder will soon announce more new music and a tour.

Several sources told Page Six that there have been things circling about what the We Found Love songbird could be up to next.

One insider shared: ‘There has been a lot of talk among people in the know, especially in the last week or two, that Rihanna is gearing up to announce a tour. It seems to be more than just hearsay at this point.’

Another said: ‘Even some members of Rihanna’s team have been kept in the dark. It’s all a big secret, from the details of her halftime show to what’s next — if anything.’
