LeBron James provides a positive update on his kid Bronny James’ recovery following a layoff owing to a serious cardiac condition: “His rhythm is starting to return.”

LeBron James’ son Bronny James’ USC recently faced a defeat at the hands of Oregon State, coming up short 86-70. Still, that did not stop the 19-year-old from delivering what was his best-ever performance in a USC shirt.

On the occasion, LeBron himself posted an update on Twitter. Bronny suffered a cardiac arrest during training around 4 months ago, which was later revealed to be due to a genetic condition. LeBron claimed that his son was now finally finding rhythm and revealed that he was still on a minute restriction:

His rhythm is starting to return to form after the layoff. Great showing tonight Young . Oh still on mins restriction too.

James responded to a clip of the highlights that Bronny produced during his team’s loss to Oregon. The clip, shared by a fan on Twitter, expressed further confidence in the 19-year-old’s abilities.

Hence, as Bronny slowly but surely returns to his best, his father seems to be utterly proud of his showings. Bronny produced a 6-for-11 shooting display and scored a career-high 15 points off the bench, for USC. This is a huge improvement on his previous best of 6 points which came against Alabama State on December 19.

Expected to join his father in the NBA in the near future, Bronny has surely continued his development in recent times and seems to be getting better with each passing game.

Bronny James’ return to basketball has been nothing short of spectacular

Bronny’s senior teammate in the form of Boogie Ellis also praised his impact on the team, claiming that he contributes in both defense and attack. Ellis called him a great player and believes there is greatness to unearth in LeBron’s son.

James produced two noteworthy highlights on his father’s birthday. He executed a 3-point play after being fouled on a converted layup and even had a one-handed breakaway drunk which was a result of his own steal.

Bronny had suffered from cardiac arrest only recently and has surely managed to move in utterly quickly. With the player eligible to join the NBA draft as early as 2024, recent issues might mean that he decides to end up taking another year, before attempting to join the NBA.
