Selena had appeared in the same outfit on her Instagram Story that day, filming a selfie video that saw her standing in a comfortably large recording studio.

‘Oh, just recording…’ she said, and zoomed the shot in to focus on some drawings behind her of Mavis, her vampire character in the Hotel Transylvania franchise.

More footage followed of the photos, and of a script on a music stand, and a later upload’s shown her with her tongue out and her arms flung wide as she stands triumphantly outdoors on the Sony Pictures Entertainment lot.

Soon after, Selena was in the car with one of the friends she was photographed out with, and she’s mused at the camera for her Instagram Story: ‘It’s so crazy that I recorded the first Hotel Transylvania in 2012 and just finished the third one now.’

She went on: ‘I feel like it’s my family. I’m growing up with them. I can’t wait for you to see it!’ of the film, which is slated for release next July.

The three most principal cast members – Selena as Mavis, Adam Sandler as her father Count Dracula, and Andy Samberg as the human called Johnny she falls for – will all be reprising their roles.
