LeBron James dunked on both Paul George and Father Time on Sunday against the Los Angeles Clippers, much to the delight of the Lakers’ bench.
The 39-year-old star electrified the crowd at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles with a vicious slam on George early in the third quarter.
James went the entire distance of the court and took some defensive pressure from Clippers guard Terance Mann. But the four-time MVP was not going to be denied.

George was already on the wrong end of a major LeBron highlight. But the referees compounded the Clippers star’s misery by whistling him for a foul on the play. James sank the bonus free throw to tie the game up at 55.
Fittingly enough, the Lakers won the game by three points, 106-103, to end their four-game losing streak.
James led the Lakers in scoring with 25 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists on 11-of-19 shooting.
The Lakers’ locker room has faced some turmoil of late due to reported animosity between head coach Darvin Ham and some of his players. James even called out a reporter after his team’s disheartening loss Friday to the Memphis Grizzlies because the 19-time All-Star was in a bad mood.
Sunday’s huge win over their crosstown rivals may be just what the Lakers needed. The highlight dunk was just the cherry on top.
