Margot Robbie’s role transformation leaves viewers stunned with a jaw-dropping reaction.

The film is jam-packed with other famous faces, such as Taylor Swift, Rami Malek, Mike Myers, Zoe Saldana, Chris Rock and Robert De Niro.

While people have gone wild for Margot’s stunning turn as Barbie, the star looks vastly different in the Amsterdam trailer.

Playing the role of Valerie, a 1930s nurse, the film follows three friends after the group are accused of murder. To clear their names, they must solve the murder and find the person who is responsible.

According to reports, Jennifer Lawrence was initially considered for the role of Valerie, which Margot ended up securing instead.

Fans can’t get enough of the former Neighbours star’s new look, with many commenting on social media.

“Margot Robbie brunette is all I ever wanted,” one fan wrote.

“Amsterdam looks like it’s going to be phenomenal, and I’m fairly certain that brunette Margot Robbie has entirely cured my depression,” another joked.

‘Holy f**k, Margot Robbie as a brunette,” a third added.

However, some fans have slammed the actress for choosing to work with director David O. Russell. The filmmaker has allegedly been involved with abusive behaviour on set and admitted to groping his transgender niece in 2011.

“Margot Robbie is incredibly confusing to me…did you not star in Bombshell? And produce Promising Young Woman? But then star in a David O’Russell film. I do not get her,” a fan wrote in a scathing tweet.

“Anya Taylor Joy, Margot Robbie, Taylor Swift, Zoe Saldaña and Andrea Riseborough. Y’all are a HUGE disappointment for working with David O’Russell. You all speak on feminism then go and work with an abuser. I’d [expect] more from women who call themselves ‘feminists’,” another added.

“David O. Russell allegations…I will not be watching this film because he does not deserve a penny. Heartbroken that actors I love participated,” a third wrote sadly.
