Ben Foster has been left stunned by the transfer rumours circling right now about Chelsea’s Conor Gallagher.
There’s plenty of talk in the media regarding the future or Conor Gallagher, 23, at Stamford Bridge.
The academy graduate would earn the club pure profit to record on their balance sheet if sold, but the £50,000-a-week star (Spotrac) has grown into a really important first-team star this season.
Football.London has claimed that some members of the Chelsea hierarchy think it’s logical to sell Gallagher this month.
This follows The Independent’s suggestion that the Blues could sell Gallagher if someone bids their £50m asking price.

Foster insisted today on the That’s Football YouTube channel that it would be “crazy” for the Blues to get rid of Gallagher.
When discussing speculation that Chelsea could sell the 23-year-old, Foster said: “It’s ridiculous. It’s all for the FFP…
“He’s their captain at the moment. He’s their best player at this moment in time apart from Cole Palmer. He has to stay!
“If Chelsea do end up selling him, whoever they’re selling him to, he will improve them.
“It would be crazy, criminal if they do sell him.”
Selling Conor Gallagher would be crazy
We’re very much in Foster’s camp here.
There’s a conversation to be had in response to the transfer speculation about Armando Broja’s future.
However, it’s clear to everyone that Gallagher is an integral part of this squad.
The energetic midfielder has been one of the rare consistent performers for the Blues term. On top of that, he’s been wearing the captain’s armband when others have been missing in recent months.
Gallagher’s become so influential to Mauricio Pochettino’s side in the first half of the season, so the idea of losing him in the next couple of weeks is a concerning one.
