Chelsea face serious competition from Tottenham if they want to sign Club Brugge star Antonio Nusa.
That is according to a report from The Guardian.
Antonio Nusa, who joined Belgian club Club Brugge in 2021, is emerging as a very exciting youngster in European football.
The 18-year-old is now receiving transfer links with top Premier League clubs.

The Guardian explained that Chelsea were unsuccessful when they made a bid to sign Nusa last summer.
It is understood that the Blues have maintained interest in the teenage winger, but it’s London neighbours Spurs that have now jumped ahead in the race to sign him. Apparently, it would be ‘hard work’ for Chelsea to now overtake their close rivals in this transfer pursuit.
The report says that Spurs are currently talking with Brugge about a deal this month. They want a £25m fee and to keep him on loan for the rest of the 2023/24 season.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri reported via X on Friday morning that Chelsea are expected to make their own move for Nusa to compete with Spurs.
In our view, Chelsea should forget interest in the Brugge youngster and focus their attention elsewhere.
The Blues have been stockpiling some of the best upcoming stars in the last year, but the main issue staring them in the race right now is the centre-forward position.
We’d much prefer to hear talk of Mauricio Pochettino’s side focusing their efforts on bringing a proven frontman to Stamford Bridge.
Nusa, who’s got talent and potential, is very much one for the future. But Chelsea really need a solution for their starting XI right now.
