Sanji’s Latest Power Up

Sanji has come a long way after the 2-year timeskip. Having mastered the two forms of Haki to a great degree, Sanji was already quite dangerous as a fighter. However, the level of strength that he possessed after returning from his training was not enough to see him compete against the strongest in the world. This is where Sanji’s new power-up comes in. In the Whole Cake Island arc, Sanji received the Raid Suit from his siblings, and, eventually, he ended up using this power. Utilizing the power of the Raid Suit activated the dormant Lineage Factor enhancement that Judge made when he was still in his mother’s womb. Sanji awakened incredible powers, such as an exoskeleton, as well as an incredibly powerful regeneration factor. Along with that, Sanji also gained more muscle mass, and a significant bus to all his physical attributes. He became so fast that even to someone like Queen, it appeared as if Sanji was invisible. He is almost impossible to track down and fights and certainly one of the fastest fighters in the entire series.

All these things put together made Sanji an incredibly powerful killing machine, strong enough to take down even Queen the Plague of the Beast Pirates. Sanji’s power allowed him to sustain even hotter flames and this allowed him to generate a flame which is blue in color, signifying that they burn much harder than regular flames. At the same time, he was also able to manifest lightning in his kicks using Ifrit Jambe, and quite clearly this power-up was absolutely immense for him.

Sanji Vs Queen

Sanji went from strength to strength in the Wano Country arc of One Piece and this was largely during his fight against Queen. Having put on the Raid Suit three times already, Sanji ended up activating his latent Germa powers and they manifested when he was fighting against Queen. During this fight, Sanji was baffled by the way his body was reacting. Before the fight even kicked started, he knew that something was off with his body. As the fight progressed, Sanji grew even more uneasy, and everything started clicking when Queen used the constricting ability on him, which was supposed to be a power that could kill even a Master of Armament Haki.

According to Queen, nobody could survive his powerful attack. Chopper, a doctor, clearly mentioned that every single bone in Sanji’s body should have shattered after this attack, despite him being a skilled user of Haki. However, it was clear that Sanji awakened the exoskeleton of the Germa and this signified the awakening of his Germa powers. As the fight progressed, Sanji’s eyebrows flipped directions and this implied that he was using the Germa mode.

Sanji then fought against Queen to the best of his abilities and this fight was rather short. All the Queen was able to get some hits in on him, they were largely insignificant, due to Sanji’s regeneration power. Furthermore, as soon as Sanji was able to sustain hot flames using Ifrit Jambe, the fight was already over. Using these flames, he was able to take Queen down in a single attack, which is nothing short of staggering.

The fact is that Queen, despite being a powerful pirate worth 1.32 billion berries, was not able to do anything to Sanji and this fight ended in a very comfortable manner for the Straw Hat cook. This is a clear indication of the fact that Sanji has much more to offer and that he will deliver in the future of the story.

Why Sanji Is Stronger Than You Think

When looking at everything that Sanji has up his sleeve, it is easy for fans to see that his true power has not been displayed in the story so far. As soon as Sanji awakened his latent Germa powers, Queen, a pirate worth 1.32 billion berries, couldn’t do anything to him. The fight was one of low difficulty for him. Sanji is actually capable of fighting much stronger opponents. Even King, the strongest subordinate of Kaido, would not have been able to defeat Sanji and the fact that he was able to beat Queen easily is proof of that.

In Egghead, while everyone was struggling to deal with the Seraphims, including Luffy and Zoro, Sanji was the only one capable of making the Seraphims struggle in a fight against him. Now, this doesn’t necessarily mean that Sanji is stronger than Luffy and Zoro, it simply means that he has much more to offer than one thinks.

Shanji has mastered the ability to utilize both Observation and Armament Haki. He can even take this ability beyond all limits. When it comes to the Germa power that he possesses, Sanji has enough firepower to burn through an Ancient Zoan dinosaur with powerful Haki in one attack. His body’s exoskeleton prevents him from taking damage and even if he somehow manages to take damage, his incredible regeneration sees to it that he recovers as long as he has enough stamina. This is, quite clearly, one of the most broken abilities that any pirate possesses in the One Piece world.

Sanji might possess a bounty of just 1.032 billion berries, however, his real worth right now is somewhere between 1.5 to 2 billion berries, on pure strength alone. Contrary to popular belief, Sanji isn’t that far behind Zoro in terms of strength. In fact, the gap between these two is very small, just as Oda intended it, and even signified on many occasions. Sanji is much stronger than fans think and his level is currently higher than that of a Yonko First Commander, and he’s edging closer to the Admirals of the One Piece world. In the Egghead Island arc, Sanji might end up fighting against Admiral Kizaru and, in this fight, he will get a chance to prove his real worth.
