In early December 2023, YG Entertainment confirmed that all four members of the global K-Pop girl group BLACKPINK had renewed their contracts with the company for group promotions.

Later that month, the company released an additional statement, sharing that the four members would not be signing separate contracts with YG Entertainment for their solo activities.

Fans have noticed differences in the individual members’ activities since it was confirmed their solo schedules were no longer managed by YG Entertainment, and many have celebrated what they’ve observed as positive changes, such as increased public appearances, promotions, performances, and more.

Most recently, fans are celebrating maknae Lisa‘s schedules. On the heels of her solo performance at the 2024 Gala Des Pièces Jaunes, which recently took place at Accor Arena in Paris on January 27, BLACKPINK’s Lisa has made another solo public appearance in Miami to promote her new BVLGARI x Lisa watch design.

The watch, which is her second collaboration with luxury jeweler BVLGARI, was recently unveiled at the 2024 LVMH Watch Week event, which is currently taking place in Miami, Florida.

Recently, the brand revealed that Lisa was able to visit their Miami showroom in person for the watch’s unveiling as their global brand ambassador, surprising fans who were thrilled to see Lisa proudly showing off her design.

Fans are celebrating the appearance in Miami, as Lisa was unable to promote her first watch design last year during the 2023 LVMH Watch Week in Singapore when YG Entertainment still managed her solo schedules.
