The Bold the Beautiful Spoilers: Eric’s Hurtful Rejection – Turns Down Donna’s Marriage Pitch?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) recovery is going well, especially now that he’s out of the hospital and settling in nicely back at home. Although Eric found it peaceful on the other side, he ultimately returned to his family and intends to make the most of the remainder of his life.

However, Eric felt Stephanie Forrester’s (Susan Flannery) presence during his time lingering between life and death.

That heavenly visit affected Eric deeply – and it could end up affecting his relationship with Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), too.

Of course, Eric has been calling Donna his rock, so he appreciates the way she’s stood by him throughout his health woes.

Donna is certainly a special woman who matters a great deal to Eric, but their romance could head downhill depending on where B&B writers want to go with this storyline.

After Eric’s brush with the afterlife, he may struggle to get Stephanie off his mind.

Stephanie was another significant love in Eric’s life, so he may have a hard time shaking all the memories and old feelings his experience stirred up.

That could present a marriage hurdle if Donna starts dropping hints about some wedding bells. Part of Eric may not want to go down that road again with Donna or anyone else.

The fact that Eric’s recovery is going so slowly could be another factor in his potential reaction.

Eric may eventually decide he doesn’t want to lock Donna into anything when she could be with a younger man who isn’t facing the same challenges.

Donna has made it crystal clear that she’s 100-percent committed to her “honey bear,” but Eric could easily start pushing her away for her own good.

As part of that plan, Eric might shut down any wedding talk. Donna may be hoping for another trip down the aisle, but she could end up disappointed if Eric rejects the idea.

Although Eric loves Donna, that may not be enough for him to want to exchange vows with her again.

Between how much Eric is missing Stephanie and how inadequate he might feel due to his slow recovery, it’s easy to imagine him pumping the brakes on any new nuptials.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Donna and Eric’s future could come with some setbacks, so stay tuned for updates on any messy romantic news.
