Serena Williams took to Instagram on Thursday to share a sweet moment with her daughter Olympia Ohanian.

The tennis icon, 41, posted photos of herself and the five-year-old relaxing on a bed as she received a massage.

The retired athlete wrote in the caption: ‘Whenever I get treatment @olympiaohanian wants to be there too. So cute.’

The living legend was makeup free with her hair in box braids as she lay on her back with an arm wrapped around her tot, who she shares with husband Alexis Ohanian, 39.

Serena’s exceptional success was on display as she appeared to receive the physical treatment in the comfort of her home.

There was a large wooden table visible in the background and sheer, neutral-colored curtains drawn in front of a long window.

Little Olympia wore a sleeveless pink top as she nestled her head on her mother’s shoulder with two scrunchies around her wrist.

Last week the tennis sensation surprised Olympia with a Moana-themed party for no specific occasion on a Wednesday.

She shared an adorable post on Instagram with Olympia, her husband Alexis and an actress dressed as Moana from the Disney film.

The group struck fun poses together as they stood underneath a multicolor balloon archway.

Williams wrote in the caption, ‘Sometimes we surprise @olympiaohanian with parties. We don’t need a reason or a special occasion we make everyday as special and memorable as we can.’

Alexis commented on the post to play along and said: ‘Still can’t believe Moana was willing to come all the way from Motunui.’

Speaking about her relationship with Olympia since going into retirement, Serena recently told People, ‘She wants to make sure that I’m aware that I should have time on my hands and I need to spend more time with her.

‘I’m always like, “Olympia, I’m not working now.” She’s like, “Yeah, you don’t play tennis!” She’s like, “Yes!” And I don’t really quite know how to feel about that!’

She reflected, ‘It’s funny … but it’s good because little kids really want to be with their parents.

‘And I just feel fortunate that she wants to be with me. That’s kind of how I look at it. She could feel a different way, and I’m glad she doesn’t.’
