Jisoo is the next member of Blackpink to have her own company after Jennie and Lisa.

On the afternoon of February 21, Blissoo company officially announced, explaining the meaning of the company’s name.

Accordingly, Blissoo said that they want to create a dynamic platform for Jisoo to actively interact with her fans. Through many different activities, not limited to one field.

In addition, the company also wants to bring diversity in roles and Jisoo’s positive energy sources to the audience.

Regarding the name, Blissoo, the company established for Jisoo’s solo business, has the meaning of combining the word Bliss – meaning happiness plus the female artist’s charm. It was like a precious gift marking the beginning of this new business.

Although Blackpink renewed its contract with YG Entertainment for group activities at the end of last year, there is still no specific update on Jisoo’s solo activities in the near future. This makes fans even more curious, after Jisoo established the company, what is her new development direction?

Kim Ji-soo, born in 1995, commonly known by the stage name Jisoo, is a Korean singer and actress. She is a member of the Korean girl group Blackpink founded by YG Entertainment in August 2016.

In addition to her music career, she also made her acting debut with a guest role in the series Behind the Scenes of Entertainment in 2015 and took on her first leading role in the movie Snowdrop on JTBC.

Jisoo made her solo debut with the single album “Me” on March 31, 2023. The album debuted at number one on the Circle Album Chart with 1.03 million copies sold in less than two days, becoming the best-selling album of all time by a female solo artist in South Korea and the first sold over a million copies.

Jisoo has won various awards throughout her career, including the Best Actress award at the 2022 Seoul International Television Awards, 3 MAMA Awards, as well as being nominated for a Music Award Melon and Seoul Music Awards.

She is the Korean actress with the most followers on Instagram and is recognized for her strong influence on fashion through her role as a global ambassador for Dior.
