Terry Bradshaw warns Patrick Mahomes ‘next year will be exhausting’ as Fox NFL icon chooses between him and Tom Brady

TERRY Bradshaw has warned Patrick Mahomes of what to expect as he attempts the three-peat in 2024.

Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs became the first team since Tom Brady’s 2003-2004 New England Patriots to win back-to-back Super Bowls this February.

Immediately after the game, Mahomes declared his intention to become the first team in NFL history to win three titles in a row.

However, according to four-time Super Bowl champion Bradshaw, who won back-to-back titles twice, this will be an extremely tough task.

“He thought this year was tough, wait till next year,” he told Rich Eisen.

“Everybody will be after him. I tried to go for three Super Bowls in a row twice. Hey Rich, it’s exhausting.

As for Mahomes himself, Bradshaw was hesitant to declare him the greatest player of all time just yet, explaining, “I’ll do that when he retires.”

That being said, he did say he was currently in that bracket alongside the likes of Brady, Joe Montana, Johnny Unitas, and Bart Starr.

Terry Bradshaw claims he predicted epic Super Bowl comeback to Fox NFL co-star Howie Long who was ‘so upset at halftime’

In fact, Bradshaw already had Mahomes in the top two.

“I would put Mahomes up there right now simply because he reminds me so much of Brady,” he admitted.

“In the sense, he is so fiercely competitive and so amazingly confident in everything he does. And a great leader, you can see that.

“So if I put Mahomes and Brady…Mahomes will give me the mobility to avoid sacks, outside of that then you’ve got Tom down there reading coverages.

“Between the one and two, ones more athletic, they’re both extremely accurate, both extremely competent.

“And I would say in modern-day football, as we know it now the last 20 years, I would probably take Mahomes just because of his athletic ability.

“But it’s hard to say, the other guy’s got seven Super Bowl titles, and Patrick is about to experience.”

A three-time Super Bowl winner, Super Bowl MVP, and two-time NFL MVP, Mahomes is already one of the most decorated players in league history at just 28 years old.
