Priyanka Chopra had a ‘heart attack’ during the Miss World 2000 final night because the bust of her dress opened up to reveal her bust.

In the television talk show People in 10 on November 5, Indian star Priyanka Chopra talked about the wardrobe malfunctions she had experienced. The first time was when Priyanka was 18 years old, just getting her feet wet on the big stage.

“It was the year 2000 and I won the Miss World pageant . At that time, I wore a dress with the chest sticking to my body , “said Priyanka. “At the end of the final night, while waiting for my name to be called, I was sweating from excitement and tension to the point that the sticker came off.”

To avoid exposing her chest, Priyanka quickly came up with a creative way to keep the dress in place: ” The entire time I was striding on stage as well as being crowned, I held my hands in front of my chest like namaste gesture (Indian greeting). Everyone thought I was doing that formal greeting, but I was actually holding on to my dress. I was not comfortable at all.”

No one knew about Priyanka Chopra’s incident and the Indian beauty had perfect, splendid coronation moments in the finale, becoming the pride of the country. The Miss World title later helped Priyanka advance in Bollywood and develop her career in Hollywood.

The beauty queen revealed that the second time she regretted wearing the wrong outfit on the red carpet was at the 2018 Met Gala. The 38-year-old star shared : ” My Met Gala outfit is a red Ralph Lauren dress like mine. Ah, the beautiful outfit with the golden hood. But the corset inside made it impossible for me to breathe. I felt like it was strangling my ribs. It was difficult to sit down to a feast and I couldn’t eat much that night.”

Even though she was very uncomfortable, Priyanka Chopra still showed off her professional style on the red carpet of the fashion festival and did not let anyone notice her inconvenience.
