Billie Eilish sure partied it up after she won an Oscar at the 96th Academy Awards on March 10. The singer let her fans known on her Instagram Stories that she was out until almost 6 am after the star-studded ceremony

The versatile star had on her same black blazer and striped shirt she wore to the Vanity Fair Oscar party, but her long dark hair was now pinned up and her makeup seemed to be a bit smeared off.

The crooner was sipping a glass of water as a small plate of scrambled eggs sat on the table in front of her.

Billie and her brother and co-writer Finneas O’Connell, 26, collected the honour together after performing their song in the show.

It’s the second Oscar the pair have been awarded after winning Best Original Song in 2022 for James Bond theme tune, No Time to Die.

As a result, Billie became the youngest person ever to win more than one Academy Award, with Finneas second-youngest.

Their win followed on from a successful sweep this awards season, making Billie the first woman ever to win the Triple Crown – an Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe for film music – twice.

What Was I Made For? was up against fellow Barbie track I’m Just Ken, (Ryan Gosling), as well as American Symphony’s It Never Went Away, Flamin’ Hot’s The Fire Inside and Killers of the Flower Moon’s Wahzhazhe (A Song for My People).

Speaking in her acceptance speech, Billie shared: ‘I had a nightmare about this last night.

‘Thank you so much to the Academy. I just didn’t think this would happen, I was not expecting this. I feel so incredibly lucky and honored.

‘I’m grateful for this song and this movie and the way that it made me feel. This goes out to everyone that was affected by the movie and how incredible it is’.

Oppenheimer won a whopping seven Oscars at Sunday night’s Academy Awards – while rival Barbie only won one.

Meanwhile Emma Stone led Poor Things to an impressive four including her Best Actress win and UK film The Zone Of Interest won two at the gala event held at The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California.

The historical epic directed by Christopher Nolan swept the major categories with wins for Best Actor Cillian Murphy, Best Supporting Actor Robert Downey Jr. and Nolan – with the film also winning Best Picture.

In contrast, Barbie, who memorably won against Oppenheimer in the ‘Barbenheimer’ box office showdown over the summer, walked away with just one award for Best Original Song for What Was I Made For?
