Christine Quinn claimed her estranged husband, Christian Richard, pretended to take his own life to “test” whether she “really” loved him.
The “Selling Sunset” alum, 35, detailed the incident in a restraining order filing after Richard allegedly went on a violent rampage in their California mansion last week.
According to court docs obtained by Page Six Wednesday, Quinn details flying from Paris in September 2023, where she was attending Fashion Week, to reunite with her businessman beau in Hungary.Christine Quinn alleged her estranged husband Christian Richard “faked a suicide attempt.”She claims Richard said it was a “test” to see whether she “really” loves him.“I watched [Richard] pour handfuls of pills [and] appear to shove them into his mouth,” she claims.
“[He] faked a suicide attempt to see if I cared about him,” she claims in the filing.
:[Richard] became angry at me, questioning why I needed to work, asserting that he was providing for everything,” Quinn goes on on.
“That night, in our hotel room, I watched [Richard] pour handfuls of pills [and] appear to shove them into his mouth, with pills flying out of his hands and spilling on the floor, and then tell me he was dying.
“When I asked him what he wanted me to do, he told me ‘just stay with me.’ When I asked him what pills he took and how many, so I could help him, he just told me he took many other pills that day.”

The reality star recalls feeling “terrified” because she “had no idea how to call for emergency services” in Hungary.
“I was terrified that [Richard] had poisoned and endangered himself. After what felt like an hour of [Richard] apparently falling in and out of consciousness and me being terrified, he suddenly appeared sober again and said ‘you passed the test, you really do love me,’” Quinn claims in the document.
“When I realized that he had faked the whole thing, I became very afraid of [Richard], and what else he could potentially do.”The estranged couple share a 2-year-old son.

Page Six has contacted Richard’s lawyer for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Elsewhere in the bombshell filing, the former Netflix reality star detailed the March 18 dispute that led to his domestic violence arrest.
When she expressed “dissatisfaction” with their marriage, including his alleged “lack of financial contribution” and “lack of effort” to be a “true partner,” he allegedly began yelling at her and throwing decorative floral arrangements.

“He narrowly missed hitting me with one of the metal rods, but I was struck by one of boxes he threw,” she claimed. “He then opened a can of Red Bull and threw that across the room as well, making more of a mess … and returned a short time later, and threw dog feces at me, which he pulled out of the trash.”
Quinn also alleged that Richard “pulled out his penis and began to urinate on the floor.”
His rampage came to a head the next day when Richard allegedly argued with her over the mess he made the night before.
Quinn, who had allegedly snuck the family’s nanny into the house to help care for their 2-year-old son, Christian Georges, claimed she “felt the rush of air from an object hurtling towards me and our son.”
The two tied the knot in 2019.Netflix Their wedding aired during Season 3 of “Selling Sunset.”
“The next instant I heard what sounded like glass breaking,” she alleged, noting that she “saw broken glass in our son’s hair and on the floor.”
After allegedly asking the nanny to call the police, Richard was arrested outside their home.
The real estate mogul denied the claim that he threw glass at Quinn and their son in a restraining order request he filed earlier this week. A judge later denied his request.
The pair said “I do” in a TV wedding that aired during Season 3 of “Selling Sunset” in 2019.
