Real Madrid had to postpone Mbappe’s debut date

According to AS, Real Madrid may have to delay the plan to launch ‘blockbuster’ Kylian Mbappe before the EURO 2024 finals and wait until August this year.

Specifically, the reason Real Madrid could not hold Mbappe’s debut ceremony at the Bernabeu before EURO 2024 kicked off in Germany was due to scheduling problems. Accordingly, Real will not be able to organize any events before June, if PSG or Real Madrid advance to the Champions League final, which will take place on June 1 at Wembley, England.

Even in case Mbappe cannot be with PSG at Wembley, the former Monaco player will join the French team from the end of May to prepare for the EURO 2024 finals.

According to AS, it cannot be ruled out that many people will have to wait until early August when Real Madrid returns from a tour in the US. This will be when Mbappe will make his debut in the Los Blancos shirt.

Real’s board of directors can even negotiate and ask coach Didier Deschamps for permission to let Mbappe leave the training camp (for the French team) to have a debut before the start of EURO. This is not very reasonable because it will cause psychological turmoil for the French captain and Mr. Deschamps will find it difficult to accept.

In addition, Real Madrid will have to ask PSG for another license, because the winger’s contract with the Paris team officially ends on June 30. Therefore, the La Liga team may have to wait another 5 months to officially announce the new signature. Regarding his future, Mbappe said there will be a clear answer before EURO 2024.
