“I’m sorry, Kylian, but you’re not the first person to turn down Real Madrid. I don’t know what decision he will make in the end, but I turned down Real Madrid because I had two other options. I believe that if I didn’t have the option to move to Arsenal or Juventus, I would go to Real Madrid. That’s for sure.

I want to see him at Liverpool. It’s a great family club. There’s a good structure there, no pressure, the fans are very calm. I think the Salah-Mbappe pair can be extremely explosive. I think he can refuse Real Madrid.”

Mbappe recently denied rumors that he had reached an agreement to join Real Madrid from PSG this summer. Meanwhile, coach Luis Enrique has not given up hope of convincing Mbappe to stay in the French capital for at least one more season.

In a recent speech, coach Enrique said: “I still hope that Kylian changes his decision. He hasn’t said anything at this point, he can change his opinion. Imagine that we win all four titles this season and Kylian decides at the last moment… that his place is in Paris. Why not? We will wait and see.”

Britain’s recently built multi-billion pound aircraft carriers may already be out of date, with military sources revealing that the carries get sunk ‘in most war games’. At present, the Royal Navy boasts two £6.2 billion aircraft carriers, the HMS Queen Elizabeth and the HMS Prince of Wales, which were only commissioned into service in 2017 and 2019 respectively. However, given the constant advancements in weapon technology, the ships may now be too susceptible to modern missiles to prove effective in wartime operation.
