The ‘Gypsy King’ will take on former UFC champion Francis Ngannou next month, but had indicated that he had nothing left to achieve in boxing and retirement was on the cards.

A hotly-anticipated title fight with with either Anthony Joshua or Deontay Wilder is yet to be confirmed.

Tyson Fury’s wife, Paris, has hinted that the heavyweight boxer could continue fighting until he is 40

The current holder of the WBC heavyweight belt had suggested that he has achieved all that he can in boxing

‘I don’t want him to, but he’s still young and at the top of his game, but he has to stop eventually.’

The current holder of the WBC heavyweight belt has said ahead of the fight with Ngannou that his future goals include being top of the Forbes list for highest paid athlete and making a Hollywood movie.

His wife believes that lighting up the silver screen could be in Fury’s future plans.

‘It would not shock me at all,’ said Paris.

‘It would certainly interest him. We’ve had some big proposals put forward for him to go into acting seriously.

“But, he’s done acting in the past and he lasts a few hours before he gets frustrated.’

The Fury family have been the subject of a behind-the-scenes Netflix documentary… But Tyson tried to cut filming short

Fury recently revealed that he tried to pay to cut short the filming of the hit Netflix documentary about his family.

However, Paris does not think her husband’s next venture will see him shy away from the spotlight.

She said: ‘He needs to find what he likes and put his passion into something else.

‘I don’t know what that is, because he’s spoken about opening a boxing gym and helping the younger generation, but he needs something that will fill the void of 100,000 people cheering his name.
