General Hospital Spoilers – Damian Spinelli And Maxie Jones’s Fate?

Spinelli and Maxie, the beloved General Hospital super couple known as ‘Spixie’ since the early 2000s, have had fans on the edge of their seats with their undeniable chemistry.

After a rollercoaster of a relationship, the two are now reunited, at least for the time being, although they’re still on a bumpy road to romance.

However, considering their absence on screen for weeks, Bradford Anderson shared some details about where Spixie apparently stands at the moment; or doesn’t as the case may be.

During a recent installment of Daily Drama, Anderson and GH co-star Steve Burton chatted on the podcast about Anderson’s last appearance in Port Charles.

When asked if Maxie and Spinelli would reignite their romance, Anderson playfully replied, “I thought we were already on that path!”

GH Spoilers – They Were On A Road….

Anderson explained that the couple had embarked on a literal journey, as evidenced by their presence together in Maxie’s car after their release from custody. “We shared a kiss on a road inside the car,” he reminisced, their arrest having been for their involvement with Jason Morgan being seen on the roof of a warehouse.

Furthermore, he mentioned their involvement in a few scenes where he assisted with Deception, recalling Spinelli’s installation of new software on Maxie’s computer.

Anderson expressed uncertainty regarding whether they were officially back together or not; he revealed that the remaining aspect to be determined is the level of commitment to the storyline.

General Hospital Spoilers – ‘Spixie’ Not Top Priority For The New Writing Regime

“It doesn’t appear to be a top priority in terms of storytelling,” Anderson confessed, referring to the relationship between Spinelli and Maxie, even though fans have been clamoring for their reconciliation.

Anderson voiced doubts about their relationship status, highlighting the importance of “buy-in” for the storyline; Burton agreed, stressing the priority of Jason’s return and Pikeman. Concluding on a positive note, Burton shared, “I believe it’s going to happen,” offering fans a ray of hope for the super couple.

This update follows Anderson and Burton’s first meeting on the GH set in March, where they confirmed they hadn’t filmed scenes together yet. That’s another relationship fans are clamoring for, to see “The Jackal” and “Stone Cold” interacting again.
