Anna Pressures Molly To Go After Sonny, And It Could Mean Losing Her Baby

General Hospital (GH) spoilers say Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) meant every word when she told Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) she would stand behind whatever decision he made regarding whether or not to press charges against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for assaulting him.

They both agreed these charges wouldn’t be the nail in Sonny’s coffin that they’ve been looking for, and Dex didn’t want to put Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) through any turmoil while she’s already pregnant and so emotionally fragile from witnessing the violent event.

General Hospital Spoilers —Sonny Corinthos Continues To Spiral Out Of Control

But that doesn’t mean Anna won’t see the opportunity for someone else to go after Sonny as wise, especially if new evidence comes to light as Sonny continues to spiral out of control and make sloppy mistakes.

Will Assistant District Attorney Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) be caught in the crosshairs as Anna pursues a takedown of the infamous mobster? What will that mean for Molly and her sister — who just happens to be carrying her baby?

GH Spoilers – Suggest That Molly Corinthos Davis Knew This Was Coming

When Molly is tasked by District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) with going after Sonny and prosecuting him, she won’t be able to deny cooperation, short of quitting her job.

Of course, that’ll be an unrealistic solution in Molly’s opinion.

After all, while it’s uncomfortable and is a personal risk for her to prosecute Sonny, it’s not as though Sonny isn’t guilty of the crimes he will be charged with — and much more. But if Molly tried to justify the prosecution to Kristina, she’s sure to receive backlash.

General Hospital Spoilers — Kristina Corinthos Davis Won’t React Well

Kristina didn’t really want to see her dad pay for his crime against Dex, nor any other. She’s still trying to reconcile with the person he is that she tried to hide from herself for all of these years.

Now, she’s also struggling to come to grips with her newly troubled relationship with Alison ‘Blaze’ Ramirez (Jacqueline Grace Lopez).

On the heels of such a horrifying trauma with her father, Kristina isn’t going to expect to hear her sister is leading the charge against her dad — especially right after they allegedly made peace with one another.

GH Spoilers Suggests – That Sonny Corinthos Backs His Daughter

If Molly is prepared to take Sonny down in court and put him away for life in prison, Kristina just might strike back in the most painful way possible — withholding this baby from Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow).

Right now, Kristina still hasn’t spoken to her father, but we imagine his arrest would have her feeling differently about that.

Sonny may capitalize on Kristina’s anger toward her sister as a means of bonding with his daughter and pulling her back into his orbit.

At the same time, if he can gain points with her by encouraging her to follow her heart and keep the baby for herself, Kristina just might be led to align herself with her dad again.

Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers to see how this family drama plays out.
