**Breaking News: Gruesome Murder of Angela Samota Finally Solved After Decades**

In a chilling twist, the 1984 murder of Angela Marie Samota, a bright young woman with a promising future, has finally been resolved, bringing closure to a case that haunted Texas for nearly four decades. Samota, known as Angie, was brutally murdered in her apartment after a night out with friends, leaving investigators baffled and her family devastated.

On October 12, 1984, after a fun night at a nightclub, Angie returned home, only to be confronted by a man who had been stalking her. Donald Andrew Bless Jr., a known serial offender, posed as someone in need, gaining entry to her home. Within moments, he unleashed a horrific attack, stabbing Angie 18 times, leaving her lifeless body in a scene of unimaginable violence.

For years, authorities pursued various suspects, including her ex-boyfriend and a friend present that night. However, it was Bless who slipped through the cracks, evading justice until a breakthrough came decades later. In 2006, a relentless friend of Angie’s, Sheila Waki, reignited the investigation, leading to the re-examination of DNA evidence that had never been tested. In a shocking turn of events, DNA linked Bless directly to the crime scene.

In 2010, Bless was finally charged with Angie’s murder, but his trial revealed a man devoid of remorse, displaying the same sadistic tendencies that had plagued his past. He was sentenced to death but died in prison in 2022, never facing the ultimate punishment for his heinous crime.

Angie’s tragic story serves as a haunting reminder of the dangers faced by women and the importance of relentless pursuit of justice. As the Dallas Police Department reestablishes its Cold Case unit, families of other unsolved cases hope for the same relentless pursuit that finally brought justice for Angela Samota.
