Spoiler photos for the Monday, September 22 episode of The Young and the Restless feature Cane talking to his dream team and reconnecting with Traci. Meanwhile, Tessa and Daniel have a revealing chat.

Scenes From Genoa City

Cane (Billy Flynn) is a disaster waiting to happen. He is finally enacting his plans for Genoa City corporate domination, and he’s taking Amanda (Mishael Morgan), Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), and Michael (Christian LeBlanc) for a ride. And who knows what he’s doing with Billy (Jason Thompson). Meanwhile, he has this super not-so-secret AI weapon at his disposal that could prove a problem for companies like Newman and Jabot. However, he also wants to repair his relationship with Lily (Christel Khalil) and his kids. If they’re not happy with his deception now, what if they find out about this AI software that could ruin people’s professional lives?

Cane connects with Michael, who works for Cane now, but also reports to Victor (Eric Braeden). Are these two comparing notes? Does Cane have a special task for his new fixer?

Cane also chats with Phyllis, who sometimes thinks she’s his equal partner. Nope. She works for Cane, not with him. And in this image, the two are observing, possibly getting the lay of the land. And then, what? Will they divide and conquer?

Traci (Beth Maitland) and Phyllis, two of Martin Laurent’s (Christopher Cousins) three biggest Genoa City victims, reconnect over wine and a martini. Phyllis may also have questions about Cane and Traci’s past. She is a nosy one, that Phyllis. But first and foremost, let’s hope Phyllis gets Traci to talk about how she’s doing in a mental health kind of way. It has been a minute since we have seen her. We need an update!

According to Monday’s teasers, Cane and Traci reconnect. Since these two have a little bit of a past, it’ll be interesting to hear her thoughts on Cane’s transformation over the last six years. From Aristotle Dumas to this 2.0 version of Cane, what do you think she’ll feel about his journey? Who knows. She may gain inspiration from his tale and actually want to write a novel about it.

Michael has been so tense lately. He’s joined up with Cane and become a double agent for Victor, not to mention the fact that he’s dealing with Phyllis and Victor’s drama. Plus, he’s keeping all of this a secret from Lauren (Tracey Bregman). So it’s nice to see Traci and Michael share a light moment. Savor it, Michael. You might not get another one anytime soon.

One of Cane’s tasks for Michael might involve him saddling up to Billy (Jason Thompson) and trying to tame his anger. An angry Billy could be dangerous. Unfortunately, at some point during this episode, Billy makes a shocking threat. So we don’t have high hopes for a kinder, gentler Billy for the foreseeable future.

The teasers also suggest that Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) confides in Daniel (Michael Graziadei). And that’s exactly what Mariah (Camryn Grimes) was hoping for when she privately asked Daniel to be there for Tessa while she’s away at a Boston clinic, healing or whatever she’s supposed to do there. So what does she reveal to Daniel?

Decades after turning rock ’n’ roll parody into legend, the guys from Spinal Tap are back together — but does lightning really strike twice? Fans packed theaters hoping for nostalgia and chaos, while critics sharpened their knives for what they feared might be a tired reprise. The reunion brings the same outrageous riffs, absurd stage antics, and deadpan one-liners that once redefined mockumentary comedy, yet questions linger: is this a victory lap or a stumble into self-parody? Insiders whisper that the cast pushed hard to recapture the anarchic magic, even while admitting age has softened some of the band’s bite. Audiences are divided, with some calling it “a glorious resurrection” and others “a joke that should have stayed buried.” Tabloids have already branded it “the loudest comeback nobody knew they needed.”
