Elon Musk tells Joe Rogan why fight between him and Mark Zuckerberg is a mismatch

Elon Musk believes a potential fight with Mark Zuckerberg is a mismatch.

The social media billionaires broke the internet earlier this year when they agreed to clash in MMA before giving UFC CEO Dana White the green light to start promoting the match-up.

However, a disagreement about how the event will run led to Zuckerberg withdrawing and claiming he would look to make his MMA debut against an alternative opponent.

Musk has now revealed exactly why his fight with Zuckerberg fell through.

“Italy actually was willing to let us use the Colosseum,” he said on The Joe Rogan Experience.

“So, I was like, ‘Well, you can’t turn that down.’ And then I was like, ‘We don’t want to have tons of ads and UFC branding on the Colosseum because it’s a historical place, you don’t want it to be like NASCAR.’

“And then Zuck pulled out. He used the pull-out method.”

The X – formerly known as Twitter – owner insists he is still willing to fight Zuckerberg despite failed negotiations and the fact he has a massive physical advantage over his potential opponent.

Musk added: “At the end of the day, I’ll fight you any place, anywhere, under any rules.

“I’m way bigger than him, it’s just unfair. I don’t think he should fight me.

“I’m like 50 per cent bigger than him. I’ve got my patented walrus move where I just lay on him. The walrus doesn’t need martial arts training because it’s really big.

“You don’t want to go wrestling a walrus because it’s gonna roll on you.

“I think I’ll be decent. I did some martial arts competitions as a teenager.”

Zuckerberg hasn’t responded to Musk’s attempt to reignite their rivalry, but he has been pressing ahead with training and even earned his BJJ blue belt in recent months.

So, he may still be willing to settle their feud in the MMA cage.
